Some minor issues:

1. waze is not starting in full screen mode (ref. pic 1) > you have to do that manually so far (pic 2) - I found no solution to store full screen mode for start up.
2. It seems that I've an issue with the WiFi Manager or I'm too stupid? 
a.) When using Wlan on the desk, waze freeze when I'm trying to downlad a route - I've not that issue when using network cable
b.) Cannot get my iPhone working as an access point 
3. Voice not tested yet

Have you tested map download function successfully?

I got it working in car using my mobile as an access point.
The issue was the WiFi Manager, but that's another story.

2 issues are remainig:
1. waze is still not starting in full screen mode
2. How to output the sound? Waze has TTS, but how to organize output like for Navit?
