Did you check the log files?
Did you get the right device name of your gps? Did you change the config file?
So in a previous version of carpc I used the GPS with ttyAMA0 and worked. I set up /etc/default/gpsd with DEVICES="/dev/ttyAMA0" but it does not work, there is nothing in the log as if it does not get any information from GPS.

Wie lautet die genaue Fehlermeldung?
Läuft taglib denn trotz Fehler durch? Kannst du das configure mal mit meinen Parametern machen und DVD/Optical etc aus lassen. Weil das ist ja was du anders machst. Dann weißte in welche Richtung du gucken musst.

taglib läuft durch und installiert auch. Alle meine letzten Versuche habe ich laufen lassen, ohne die Parameter zu verändern - damit ich das zumindest als Fehler ausschließen kann.
libgpg-error-dev ist installiert - bin wirklich ratlos.

Hi,
I installed the system on a noobs system and the gps-mouse is detected as ttyA...
I installed on jessie lite and the mouse is on ttyUSB0
so christians hint to check which is the right device is the first thing I would do

Alternativ: Für mich ist auch eine (neuere) Version von Kodi mit Zugriff auf Silberlinge eine Lösung.
